First prodction meeting
I managed to get the idea I voted for, which was Ben's idea. Our group of Danny, Leo, Ben and myself were happy with the idea but knew that we had a lot of work to do to make it extra good. The initial idea was for a very grim torture scene. A young girl happily jogging down the street and she gets knocked out by two very large gangsta looking men. She gets put in the boot of a car and is taken to a warehouse to be tortured in a very disturbing way. As a group we had to pad it out and make sure the scene made sense. We had to create tension with-in the scene and talk about the suitable characters.

Thriller Ideas.
The thriller idea I came up with was influenced by personal fears. I feel the most scary films are the ones that touch on well known fears, because people are going to relate to this, and make their on fears even worse.
My idea was about a young girl around the age of 18, baby sitting at a large rural house. The children are up stairs and the parents have just gone. The young girl hears a loud bang outside and goes and opens the door, to look outside. Its all dark, and then form silence you can hear the sound of the father dragging his foot across the gravel. He is covered in blood and looking very battered. He is struggling to talk and stutters, 'Get away, take the children', suddenly there was a ear piecing scream from the mother. The babysitter panics and she turns around and the killer is there standing in front of her, with a balaclava on and covered in blood. The thing I liked about this idea was that it had a stereotypical young woman, who would be seen as very venerable. Along with the rural house and the thought of the girl babysitting would attract most of the young audience. I would imagine that this film would be filmed, produced and funded by a mainstream Hollywood film Co. I think this because it would be a large budget, and I would like it to be BIG!
